Catch the first episode of season 1 on Discovery channel 14 Feb 2010 at 22:00 followed by episode 2 on 16 Feb at 22:00
Watched the first episode. Fell asleep until the last bit when he hooked the 161 lb Goonch. From the news of the fatal attacks at Kali river, some dubbed the Goonch as mutant fish. Doesn’t look much like a maneater to me. Eating dead corpse is very much different from attacking and killing adult buffalo. Easier to blame an innocent fish that don’t look so innocent. The teeth of the Goonch are sparsely spaced and most likely to hang on to prey such as a fish. The first episode was flaky and lacked conclusive evidence.
